Below expectations - not up...
- What did you like most?Swimming pool and sauna.
- Was there anything you didn't like?Our stay at this hotel was deeply disappointing from start to finish. - Early check-in “offer”: On arrival we were told we could check in earlier but only if we paid an additional half-day rate. Hardly a warm welcome. - Bathroom amenities: The room had one tiny 22 ml bottle of shower gel to share between two adults and a child, for two days. Completely insufficient. - Poor communication: Reception gave no information about breakfast, even though it was included in our booking. Breakfast confusion: The next morning, staff didn’t even know we had paid for breakfast, we were asked to “wait while they check.” - Breakfast quality: Coffee was served in disposable cardboard cups instead of proper mugs; bacon was rock hard and inedible; the selection was minimal and felt deliberately spread out to appear larger. Pastries and bread were stale and dry, and even at 8 a.m. the juice dispensers were almost empty and tasted like cheap concentrate. - Uncomfortable service: The breakfast attendant hovered awkwardly near our table in an otherwise empty room, asking if everything was okay, repeatedly. It was uncomfortable, especially with no background music and complete silence. - Room access failure: After breakfast, none of our three key cards worked. The receptionist was nowhere to be found, so the shuttle driver had to escort us (and another guest) back to our rooms to let us in. Completely unprofessional. - Smell in the hallways: During checkout the corridor was filled with thick smoke from incense or scented sticks. It made my child feel sick, and we had to wait outside. - Final impression: As we waited for the shuttle, the driver was delivering boxes of snacks, Pringles, cheap cupcakes, and other supermarket items, to the hotel. It left the impression of a place run without standards or care. Overall, this property falls far below what I would expect from a brand like Radisson.
