Hotel in not so great area that needs urgent remodeling!
- What did you like most?Even though the hotel overall looks pretty beat up, I was pleasantly surprised that the room was clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Rose at the front desk was very nice and welcoming. I did the pre-check in, so check in was pretty fast.
- Was there anything you didn't like?The location was next to the freeway overpass. Even with the gps it was confusing to get there. It’s not in a great area unless you want to stay next to the airport. The hotel is pretty beat up, the elevators are in terrible condition with holes on the floor. The room doors were damaged and our shower had mold. The breakfast was very messy, trash cans all full and no one really cleaning. The chairs where the breakfast is served were all damaged with dirty covers, very filthy. The hotel needs an urgent remodeling. I don’t recommend staying there.
Great staff, good location, good value-basic expectations we’re not met!
- What did you like most?The location is good; the cost/value is good; the staff is great. They are friendly & respond quickly to resolve issues. I have stayed here several times based on the above.
- Was there anything you didn't like?The room in which I have stayed several times needs serious attention: the curtains are torn—really should be replaced! The handle to the shower is horrible-it has to be tightened to an excessive amount which makes it difficult to turn on (very, very difficult) and if not tightened to rigid there is a serious leak of water dripping excessively. The process of reserving a room is not smooth: I requested an ADA room-not arranged (then I was required to pay $5 extra per day. I usually arrive early evening so I include that info-does not seem to make it to the front desk. Coffee packets & cups were not replenished-I had to get them myself. If it wasn’t for the location & the friendliness of the staff I would not repeat my stay. The above mentioned items are basic. The Wyndham should not be tarnishing their brand with such minor issues!
