The Stay from Hell
- What did you like most?Staff was excellent, locations was excellent, food in hotel restaurant was amazing.
- Was there anything you didn't like?Hotel is basically inaccessible due to construction. We missed turning into the entrance the first round because the entrance is barricaded with barrels and "Do Not Enter" signs. Even though I was on the 12th floor, they put me in a room facing the construction of the new Hilton facility across the street. Concrete mixer trucks and welding machines at 3 AM running full throttle. New trucks backing up with their "BEEP BEEP BEEP" warning at 4 AM. At 5 AM the last Mixer truck had to blast his diesel horn three times to say goodbye to his friends. No Self Parking available because of construction. Be prepared to give up your first born child for Valet parking fees... also 20-30 minutes to go get your vehicle. I paid full price for this room for three nights.... they should have given me a 50% refund.
Good enough, but could have...
- What did you like most?Awesome view, pretty clean hotel room, very close to the convention center next door. It was a pretty decent stay.
- Was there anything you didn't like?The walls are so thin that both nights I heard the suite next door partying all night long, like until 4 am. Not ideal. Ended up having to blast stuff on the tv to be able to sleep. I wish there was complimentary breakfast as well :/ Had to walk and maneuver around a shit ton of construction. Not to mention that the bed had mystery stains, I hope the rooms are cleaned throughly.
